On your bike for DEAL! Every year a crack team of dedicated pedallers set out from Mildura in Woody's Murray to Moyne and thrash the tar out of the road flat out all the way to Port Fairy, 520 k away, to raise money for DEAL Communication Centre. It's a relay, not a race, so you don't have to do the whole 520, but it's a stern test of rider and machine, stretching you to the limit, and we're not saying we're fast - but our team hasn't been passed yet. It's a high for the riders, a chance to see how you'd do in the Tour, and a vital source of funds for DEAL. Next year's ride is on 4th & 5th April 2009. Why don't you come? (and if you're not coming, why don't you chip in and have us carry your name on our shirt? Admittedly, at the speed we're travelling the passers-by won't have much chance to study it!)
